The Spectra Cocoa Bean Sorter is The separator is designed to efficiently sort cocoa beans into three different grades based on size and also collect the fines and dust. This classification process helps ensure consistency in cocoa production and enhances the overall value of the final product.

As cocoa beans are fed into the separator, they pass through carefully designed channels and filters that divide them into three categories. The first category “A” consists of premium-quality beans that are uniform in size, well-fermented, and free from defects. These beans are ideal for high-grade chocolate and cocoa products. The second category “B” includes medium-grade beans that may vary slightly in size or quality but are still suitable for commercial cocoa processing. The third category “C” contains smaller, damaged, or defective beans, along with foreign particles and impurities, which can be removed or processed separately.
